For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
       And he will be called
       Wonderful Counselor,  Mighty God,
       Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

 Isaiah 9:6

Josh has been keeping us busy again this year.  He turned 3 in October, but not before he learned his alphabet and numbers 1 - 10 (we're working on 11-20 now).  He knows how to use the computer all by himself, mouse and all.  He can play games at the PBS and Disney websites all by himself, which brings him great joy.  He loves music and dancing, coming up with his own choreography to his music and TV shows and even some of his books.  He loves the outdoors, and would probably play outside all day if he could.

Josh has been missing his faithful snow-playing partner, our German Shepherd Steve, who died in July.  We have missed seeing him enjoy making snow angels in the snow, but are thankful for his 13 great years.

Chris has been keeping busy with work, implementing new services. The constant change in technology is a challenge that he enjoys.  He enjoys visiting with a variety of international clients, in addition to our local customers.

Brenda has been enjoying helping with our Sunday School curriculum project, as a group of volunteers is writing our own special lessons for our church, to use with Biblical theme rooms.

We thank God for His faithfulness this year.  In the last few weeks alone, we have been blessed to keep our power most of the time during the recent ice storms.  We lost a lot of tree limbs, but the house was not damaged.

Thank you for all who've sent Christmas greetings (and sorry ours is so late!).  We'd love to hear from everyone whenever you have time.  Have a great 2008!

Merry Christmas and God bless you,

Chris, Brenda, and Josh

May the God of hope

We enjoyed meeting up with family at 2 cousins' weddings, plus a family reunion this summer.

Our family portrait worked out best with Chris & Brenda in one, and Josh in other pictures...guess he just didn't want to pose with us this year...

As you an see, he has no problems posing on his own!

We were saddened to lose our beloved pet, Steve on July 1.  We were blessed to watch Steve and Josh enjoy playing in the snow last winter many times, and in the Spring and early summer as well.

Josh enjoyed taking swimming lessons this year at the YMCA.  He's still practicing in the bathtub every night!

Our trees were beautiful in the spring, but they suffered in our recent ice storm.

Josh enjoyed playing with his cousins Maddi and Emily in Illinois this summer.
